Masteron is an ester of drostanolone, drostanolone propionate. It is an injectable steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is therefore a very androgenic product.

As Masteron is a derivative of dihydrotestosterone, it provides the user with high levels of male hormones. This results in a virilization effect including dense and lasting musculature with little hydro-sodic retention, but without significant mass gain. This is why this product is used during drying cycles, often in stack (mix) with other "drying" steroids to accentuate this effect. This is how Masteron becomes very effective in achieving a skinned look.
